Ma. Theresa Velasco (Philippines), Researcher at Crop and Environmental Sciences Division (CESD) on July 1. She assists in the implementation of experiments, surveys and other research studies. Her office is located at DL Umali Building.

Alma Fuentes (Philippines), Research Technician III at Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Biotechnology (PBGB) on July 1. She assists in the implementation of the bar coding, data and seed storage management of Salinity and problem soils trait development breeding program and PBGB cross cutting activities. Her office is located at NC Brady Building.

Bonifacio Villanueva (Philippines), Technician II at Experiment Station (ES) on July 8. He assists in all ES-Bioenvironment Greenhouse / Headhouse / Screenhouse Unit.  His office is located at Experimental Station Building Complex.

Maila Melodillar (Philippines), Assistant at Training Center (TC) on July 8. She provides administrative support to the Organizational Unit Head and team members. Her office is located at Swaminathan Hall.

Willy Bautista (Philippines), Research Technician I at T.T. Chang - Genetic Resources Center (TTC-GRC) on July 11. He assists in the operations at greenhouse, screenhouse and headhouse facilities and ensures quality assurance and efficient use of resources in ES-Bioenvironments units. His office is located at Experimental Station Building Complex.

Jeffrey Care (Philippines), Research Technician I at T.T. Chang - Genetic Resources Center (TTC-GRC) on July 11. He assists in the preparation and maintenance of experiments and performs basic data gathering and encoding. His office is located at NC Brady Building.

Nickolai Alexandrov (USA), Senior Scientist at the T.T. Chang Genetic Resources Center on July 11. He provides leadership and guidance for IRRI's bioinformatics team and to be the focal point for collaboration with multiple bioinformatics groups around the world. His office is located at NCBL Building, X2385.

Mary Jane Manimtim (Philippines), Officer at Controller - Financial Operations Unit (CNTRL-FOP) on July 16. She provides assistance to FOP processes during the implementation of OCS. Her office is located at FF Hill Building.

Jennedes Rosaliza Estay (Philippines), Senior Assistant at Transport Services (TS) on July 16. She provides administrative support to the Organizational Unit head and team members. Her office is located at Service Building.

Yoichiro Kato (Japan), Scientist at Crop and Environmental Sciences Division (CESD) on July 16. He develops and leads a research and extension program on innovative crop and natural resource management approaches to intensify and diversify rice production in rainfed lowland environments in Southeast Asia. His office is located NC Brady Building.

Efren Aguila (Philippines), Research Technician II at Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Biotechnology (PBGB) on July 18. He executes the day-to-day operations in the field and greenhouse and performs data collection, recording, and filing. His office is located at NC Brady Building.

Neale Marvin Paguirigan (Philippines), Junior Specialist at Social Sciences Division (SSD) on July 18. He conducts research and supports the development of technologies, processes and systems for end-users. His office is located at Drilon Hall.

Joanie Antonio (Philippines), Junior Specialist at Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Biotechnology (PBGB) on July 29. She conducts research and supports the development of technologies, processes and systems for end-users. Her office is located at NC Brady Building.
